Two paths.
One shared canvas in the Netherlands.

We arrived in the Netherlands from India as individuals trailing completely separate trajectories—one navigating the complex architectures of neural networks, the other calculating mechanical stress and structural physical systems. But outside the labs and engineering bays, we kept running into the same deep need: a space to unplug, get our hands dirty with raw pigment, and build something real.

We became fast friends, quickly bonding over late-night cooking, shared traditions, and a distinct philosophy of art. We watched the modern world speed up, and we wanted to build a cultural anchor to slow it down. The P&S Atelier was born from that exact convergence—an initiative designed to give creativity free reign, stimulate all five senses, and build a local community where collaborative storytelling is the core currency.

Where it began — two friends, one slow afternoon.

The minds behind the brushes.

Both of us with finished work — a Madhubani tote and Warli plates, made from salvaged things.

Sukanya

Co-Founder · Artist · Neuroscientist

By day, a Neuroscience PhD researcher decoding the brain. By night, a self-taught multi-medium artist.

Sukanya works across charcoal, oils, acrylics, and razor-sharp fineliner ink drawings. Mirroring her personal art philosophy at Scattered Scribbles, her work focuses heavily on narrative crafting—weaving surreal abstraction, classic impressionistic textures, and deeply human portraits that search for hidden stories within faces. Deeply passionate about tactile, physical construction, she handles the atelier's interior design curation and large-scale furniture transformation concepts.

Pallavi

Co-Founder · Artist · Engineer

By day, a Mechanical Engineer optimizing physical systems. By night, a master of textile manipulation and color science.

A self-taught creator primarily utilizing acrylic formats while actively exploring classical oil methodologies. Pallavi grounds the atelier's sustainability practices with her deep expertise in natural fabric dyeing. She builds custom, wearable artwork—breathing intricate aesthetic narratives back into worn-out denim, old tote bags, discarded canvas, and weathered shoes.

"The Atelier is a living organism. These foundational folk art workshops are just our first chapter."

Our ultimate vision extends far past individual classes. We are building toward a brick-and-mortar creative sanctuary in the Netherlands. A communal room where the visual arts sit side-by-side with culinary design. In the long run, our events will feature curated home-cooked food menus reflecting regional artistic histories, alongside guest storytellers, live musicians, and independent artisans who share our dedication to sustainable design.
